I just got this great untouched Indian Musket nobody has touched this gun since the original Warrior put it away.  It's missing it's trigger and the trigger guard is lose but I wouldn't touch it. This Indian obviously admired the Kentucky Rifle and made a patchbox out of sheet brass on BOTH sides of the stock.  The brass is held on by iron tacks.  It look looks like the wrist was decorated with brass tacks at one time but all that remains is the squire shanks of the tacks. The wrist and the forestock are repaired with what looks like Telegraph Copper Wire. The barrel still has the remnants of the original proof marks and the date 1809.  A really great early Indian gun that's  brand new to the collector market .
