A nice untouched frontier cut down musket. This Civil War European Imported musket went West after the War and ended up on the Plains of Kansas. It comes with a letter of prov. that states it came out of a Indian/Western Kansas Coll. The forestock has been cut down and is held to the barrel by a piece of sheet iron and hide with brass tacks. This musket could be attributed to either Indian or Frontier use. Good looking unfooled with gun.
