A good looking pistol that saw both the French & Indian War and the American Revolution.  The early banana shaped lock is marked Jordan 1742 with the Crown over GR and a broadarrow which designates government ownership. The 12"barrel has 2 early proof marks on the top of the barrel with a inspectors initals and 65 on the side.  I don’t know what the 65 signify’s,it may be a Regiment designation.  The stock is in very good shape with minor wood repair on the forestock and retains it’s early paddles around the lock and sideplate areas. These are the pistols that were used at the Siege of Boston & Bunker Hill.  This  pistol would fit nicely in any early American collection.
