This wonderful War of 1812 musket is in Fine + condition.  It has great untouched patina with very crisp and clear markings.  The cartouche is really outstanding for a 200 year old musket.  As are the barrel proofs and lock markings. The 45" barrel has a deep brown patina which matches the lock nicely. This original Flintlock has a strong spring and locks up tight. The original contract on these muskets was for 4000 so your not going to find too many of these around today especially in this great untouched condition.
