This is a French Rev.War pistol with obvious signs of American Indian use. The top of the butt is decorated with numerous squire shank tack shanks with much wear and a great period patina. The forestock is held to the barrel with what appears to be a copper collar. This Rev.War Indian pistol has just surfaced here in Pennsylvania and is being offered to the collecting fraternity for the first time.
